Ayuda al desarrollo y seguridad: ¿dos agendas incompatibles?
Abstract
The Aid System is being transformed at a great pace by the new issues of the “agenda of security”, which is steadily permeating the aid agenda and transforming it into something different. The buzzword that describes this new situation is the “securitization” of the aid donor’s policy agenda, a trend that goes beyond 11/S but that has been widely affected by the so-called “Global War On Terror” launched after the terrorist attacks. As a result of this, the Aid System is loosing its legitimacy and its focus on poverty-related issues.
