Marruecos, migraciones y desarrollo. Análisis de un caso específico en el Mediterráneo
Abstract
Since the 90, the Moroccan emigration has being settling in Spain. This European country stops of being just a zone of transit to the traditional destinations, mainly France and Belgium, and turns into a destination when other European Union actors harden their own migratory policies. In addition, Morocco has widened its migratory dimension by joining its double status as emigration sender and receptor, at least in a temporary basis, of a South-South emigration. This study is structured in two priority axes: on the one hand, it focuses on the evolution of the Moroccan migration in Spain, paying particular attention to the femenine collective that has attained great visibility; on the other hand, it deals with the arrival of inmigrants, regarded as a contribution to the state and domestic development.
