Migración y desarrollo: la contribución de la Secretaría de Estado de cooperación internacional
Abstract
This paper explains the recent Spanish contribution to the debate about the link of migration and development. The proposes presented are connected to two axes: on the one hand, and in the general sense, Spain intends a concerted and appropriate management of migratory flows, that maximizes the positive effects and minimizes the negative impact on development; and on the other hand, on a specific level, the search for mechanisms aimed to make it possible for the notable financial flow of remittances to have an lager impact on development.
