Brasil en el escenario global: aspectos de su actual política exterior
Abstract
The author analyses the role of Brazil in the creation and development of the international system, with its political, economical and strategical dimensions, from the XIX century onwards. The emergence of new regional powers (Brazil, Mexico, China, India, South Africa) and their demands for a bigger participation in the mechanisms of global governance, materialised in the dialogue with the G-8, represents the backdrop for the projected growth of Brazil in the global scenario and its possibilities and limits to achieve an outstanding place in XXI century’s international relations.
