Cooperación descentralizada Euromediterránea: una aproximación a la cooperación al desarrollo de los gobiernos locales en el Mediterráneo
Abstract
Local governments in the Euro-Mediterranean area participate in a cooperation network with some specific characteristics that make it different from the traditional development cooperation. This article presents the main components of this relationship, underlying that it is an added value in a region characterized by political instability and socioeconomic inequality. Finally, the article sets the challenges that key players must face to improve the development cooperation initiatives.
