Abstract

With the change of government in the United States and the global economic crisis, the international cooperation has been reactivated. The first quarter of 2009 can be defined by two characteristics, that are although different, interrelated. On one hand, the decision of the United States to revive political dialog and cooperation, both with allies and adversaries, whether in bilateral or multilateral ambit. On the other hand, the G-20 promoting basic but important gains in terms of collective cooperation oriented to face the worst global economic disaster of the recent decades.
