El diálogo entre el G8 y el G5 sobre desarrollo: la experiencia del proceso de Heiligendamm (PDH) en la construcción de una visión compartida
Abstract
At the 2007 G8 Summit, the G8 and the G5 launched the “Heiligendamm Dialogue Process (HDP)” with the aim of enhancing confidence among partners and developing common understanding on crucial global issues. After two years, this unique experience has succeeded in building a common ground on key international development issues. In the current complex international context, where the global governance mechanisms must adapt to new realities, the experience and innovative working methods of HDP could serve, as a model of effective mechanism for collaboration, to shape a more inclusive partnership and agenda for international development.
