La diplomacia de ciudades: instrumento de desarrollo y cooperación descentralizada
Abstract
No city should live apart from others and remain outside the new international reality, as it risks falling behind in the pursuit of an economic area in the world. The internationalization of cities and their full integration in to the world economy is no longer an option for any city becoming a necessity. Investing abroad is now equivalent to invest in sustainable development. The internationalization of cities is growing, not only because most humans live in cities, but because the positive and negative effects of globalization are felt especially in the cities.
