How can the Spanish government compensate a lost decade while implementing the 2030 Agenda
Abstract
Domestic politics are heavily conditioning Spanish development policy and progress in implementing the 2030 Agenda. The roadmap established in the Action Plan presented to the UN by Spain in 2018 can be delayed or blocked by political uncertainty, the preparation of the COP25 and a development strategy besieged by contradictions and lack of funds. The new government should work more closely with its multilateral partners and make more space for civil society.
