The Tricontinental Conference in the European Left
Abstract
This article studies the relationship of the Western European left with the Tricontinental Conference through the participation of some of its representatives. It analyses who attended and what impact they had on their organizations and militancy, with the aim of understanding how the revolutionary, third world and anti-imperialist debates that emerged from the Cuban event permeated those lefts. The reconstruction is carried out through Cuban and American archives, as well as local sources from the countries themselves, documentation not contemplated in previous literature
