Presencia del clero en la Revolución Cuzqueña de 1814: ideas y actitudes de Francisco Carrascón
Abstract
This article analyzes priest Francisco Carrascon’s participation in the revolution of Cuzco in 1814. Particular attention is paid to his writings that encouraged independence and the creation of a Peruvian homeland, in order to allow a profound study of his thought and discern his revolutionary ideas. Finally we study the military trial to which he was subjected and his subsequent sentence.Downloads
