Abstract
The aim of this communication is to build instruments for the assessment and characterisation of Protected Natural Spaces, and to determine their positioning in relation to other territories, detect their strengths and weaknesses, and in this way be able to plan action for their future development. A system has been developed comprising 95 indicators based on sustainability and applicable to the Protected Natural Spaces as a whole.
