Abstract

Besides the great technological development experienced by Cartography in the last decades, you must to bear in mind the scientific and conceptual advance of the subjects that deals with, particularly relating to the environmental paradigm. In this context, it reviews the ways followed from the Thematic Cartography to make up environmental maps, also it fixes some concepts about, it exhibits the previous elaboration aspects to consider and, finally, it proposes a systematization of the Environmental Cartography so as to be used as provisional epistemological guide, while this matter strengthens.
