Abstract

El Valle de Mena constituye un extenso término municipal de 26.320 hectáreas situado al noreste de la provincia de Burgos. Debido a sus características fisiográficas y climáticas los montes han tenido y tienen una gran importancia en la economía local, ya que representan un 67% del territorio.
