Abstract

This article describes the urban stock undertaken in the Urban Center from the approval of the General Urbanism Plan 1997, some of which envisage the same one. The performance approach is the integral rehabilitation, the recovery of a consolidated space and with serious problems of environmental deterioration, aging and abandonment of its population, immigration and tertiarization. The revitalization is the objective, and a desire to reach an urban sustainability in this old space of Madrid.
