Abstract
It describes a itinerary of monumental, architectural and geology interest on the northern slope of the Sierra de Guadarrama. The paper has an educational and didactic objective which aims to bring together both architecture and geology worlds. Some connections are established between the petrographic characteristics of the rocks used in construction of ancient monuments, with the distribution of efforts and loads of walls. The article is structured to can be used as a field guide to carry out the proposed itinerary.Downloads
