5e cita Carex canescens L. (C. curta Good.) de  la Cordillera Cantábrica, laguna de Arbas (Asturias). así como de otras localidacles del Pirineo español (Huesca, Lérida) y Sistema lbérico (Burgos). Al mismo tiempo se ofrecen datos ecológicos y fitosociológicos de los biótopos en las que se desarrolla.
