Nannochloropsis gaditana spec. nov., una nueva Eustigmatophyceae marina

Abstract

Se describe Nannochloropsis gaditana Lubién spec. nov., Eustigmatophyceae aislada de la Bahia de Cádiz, como resultado de los estudios sobre su morfología, ultraestructura, composición de pimentos y fisiología del crecimiento. N. gaditana se diferencia de las otras dos especies, N. oculata (Droop) Hibberd y N. salina Hibberd cultivadas en las mismas condiciones, en su morfologia y capacidad para producir a-caroteno.
