Del poder en/del espacio

Resumen
La pregunta sobre las relaciones históricas, actuales y posibles entre espacio y poder, encuentra renovada vigencia cuando han tomado fuerza planteamientos sobre la importancia que tienen diferentes formaciones espaciales (territorios, lugares, arquitecturas o cuerpos), para el diseño e implementación de políticas de equidad social y sostenibilidad ambiental. Tempranas aproximaciones a la cuestión, desde la geopolítica, fueron prontamente criticadas bajo el calificativo de determinismo geográfico o ambiental, proponiendo, en su lugar, un posibilismo geográfico. Estos rasgos del pensamiento sobre el espacio son tratados en este texto, para proponer un acercamiento diferente al problema del poder del espacio (y no solo del poder en el espacio), con énfasis en las geografías del conocimiento.
