Estudios sobre el supplicium seruile en el mundo romano
Abstract
The current piece of work shows all historical features which make part of crucifixion, from the dawn of its existence in the Mediterranean area up until its splendour at Roman times, studying its likely provincial appliance, with full coverage of slavery and eventually of Roman citizens themselves. Literary sources show a few details concerning citizen forms of execution and places.
