Abstract

This article raises some constructive criticism to the current Spanish election voting system which includes a series of basic considerations addressed at its reform. The article starts with the representative principle typical of constitutional democracy toward a particular aim, the one of «recovering Parliament» as the representative assembly of Spanish people. Representative deficit and the growing disengagement Spanish people have grown with regards to Parliament are the starting point to raise improvements in the voting system.
