Abstract

This paper presents the evolution of the concept of State within Marxist thought during the 20th century. Through Koselleck's methodology of the history of concepts (Begriffsgeschichte), the changes in the social political reality are taken into account to interpret which were the theoretical transformations that the concept State suffered.
