The Biopolitical as Incidental. An Evaluation of Biopolitics in the Works
Abstract
This article offers an evaluation of the relevance of biopolitics within Michel Foucault’s work. A comprehensive analysis of Foucault’s oeuvre is essential to an assessment of the various appearances of the concept of biopolitics. This makes it possible to conclude that biopolitics can be considered incidental and secondary to Foucault’s main conceptual framework.Downloads
