Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the modality of discourse in Marina Tsvetaeva´s work and, specifically, of the way the author exteriorizes/textualizes the decline of the self. To achieve that purpose, we begin by studying the pronominal structure in the author poetics, paying special attention, because it is a recurrent and synthesizing topic, to the verbalization of the love theme. Lastly, we provide a justification of the bonds that tie the author’s worldview and her argumentative poetical system.
