Cómo funciona el arte de Pushkin: algunas reflexiones acerca del duelo entre Oneguin y Lenski

Abstract

A stylistic and conceptual analysis of an excerpt of Yevgeni Oneguin (the duel between Oneguin and Lenski) by Aleksandr Pushkin is developed. This detailed analysis pays attention to the way in which poetic resources and narrative schemes are joined together in order to build a hybrid masterpiece, a novel in verse. Because of that, Yevgeni Oneguin is one of the most relevant and influent oeuvre along the whole history of Russian literature.
