Abstract
The study sets out to discuss the communication between the oppositions “own and foreign”, “old and new”, “center and periphery”, which are analysed through the the texts of both Vidin collections of Sophronius of Vratsa. Vidin is presented as a cultural center, unexplored and unnoticed by the widely known literary narrative of the nineteenth-century Balkan history.Downloads
