Abstract

The paper seeks to raise awareness of the need of the Sociology of Work appropriates a emancipatory mission and raises its study objects to the scope of the public policies, trying, thus, of advocating of these. The sociology, as a critics discipline, which identifies and raises of understanding and explaining the social problems, has a necessary responsibility for incorporating the gender as a analysis category in its work, inside and outside of the fields of political decision. This paper proposes to use a methodology of gender, which meets inequalities that condition and control access to relevant resources and benefits to position themselves as agents with the ability to make decisions and to generate different performances in different markets. We review the concepts of gender and its relationship with current trends in labor markets and employment.
