Abstract
.- An Attic black figures oinochóe, c. 530 BC, has a shape characteristic of the metallic and red slip Phoenician oinochóai. This shape was copied by Etruscan potters, but the spherical form is typical of Phoenician and Cypriot jars pointing out that the oinochóe was made for the Eastern Mediterranean market and the con tinuity of this prestigious Phoenician ritual form in the second half of the VI century BC.Format
