Author Biography

Xosé R. Cisneros, University of Santiago de Compostela

Graduated in Art History at the USC, he specialised in Museums after completing the Master's Degree in Heritage Management, Museums and Art Market (USC-ULPGC). He also received a professional expert diploma in Advanced Technologies for the dissemination of Cultural Heritage from the UNED. He is currently a PhD researcher in the Department of Art History at the USC and is part of the Novos Medios Group (Tendencias, cibermedios, impresos) (GI-1641). His research focuses on the use of social networks as a communication tool by Spanish museums, highlighting issues related to the image and the work of art in the media ecosystem and the history of digital art, among others.
