EE.UU. y el debate del sistema de defensa estratégica BMD

Abstract

This article analyzes the development by the US of a strategic defense system against ballistic missiles (BMD), whithin the context of the criticism to the concept of nuclear deterrence after the Cold War, and the security and defense policy of the Bush Administration. The conclusions relate these capabilities to the US space policy and the creation of space-based defense systems.
