¿Estado de derecho o “democracia soberana”? Una aproximación al proyecto político de Dmitri Medvedev
Abstract
Since Dmitry Medvedev’s designation by Vladimir Putin as his candidate to replace him as Russian president, which was confirmed by Medvedev’s electoral victory and his inauguration on 7 May, many analyses have tried to predict the behaviour of the new president, and the differences in comparison to his mentor and predecessor. Medvedev’s statements during the electoral campaign have had a great impact, and many have interpreted them as an evidence of a more open and democratic attitude than Putin’s. But after examining the same statements in the context of Medvedev’s previous experience, we have to moderate that optimism.Downloads
