Fracturas de estrés en atletas
Abstract
Stress fracture is a solution of partial or complete continuity as a result of excessive or repeated loads, an acute and severe tide, resulting in a greater resorption compared to a weak tissue formation. The distribution of the most common stress fractures in the tibia, the tarsal bones and the metatarsals and several are the risk factors for the production of the injury such as extrinsic factors related to sports equipment and physical conditioning and factors intrinsic factors such as age, sex, race, bone density and metabolic level.
