Reading Club at the León Penitentiary. Analysis of the experience
Abstract
One of the main purposes of a book discussion club is to share a meeting space that promotes respect and communication by expressing calm opinions about reading a text. The aim of this work is to present and evaluate the meetings of the book discussion club in the jail of León. We have considered the interest in knowing the degree of satisfaction of the participants with different aspects of the club and laying the foundations for a more in a future study. A qualitative survey has been developed to know the scope, assessment and possible positive growth that could have been derived from the activity.
