Abstract
The aim of my work is to attempt a critical and constructive analysis of Spanish language dubbing and subtitling of the film Gegen die Wand (Fatih Akin: Germany, 2003). Using examples from this film, I intend to describe the effects that both forms of translation have on transmitting both the linguistic and the cultural component of the original.Format
