Sinks, sources, and centers in some history of economic thought
Abstract
We propose a unifying dynamical systems approach to states of rest and fluctuations grounded in four models offered by Jump & Stockhammer (2023). Our treatment permits reflection on the claim of heterodoxy made of the models. We conclude that only models 2 and 3 are heterodox. Models 1 and 4 are orthodox.
