Abstract
In 1940, the producer Ricardo Soriano and the political boss of the Franco's cinema, Manuel Augusto García Viñolas, founds the professional and cultural association CIRCE. Their objective is to elevate the professional level of its partners and the quality of the Spanish cinema. With this end, CIRCE organizes conferences, publications and cinema-club sessions, where they project movies without censorship.Format
