Resumen

In 1970s Portugal, new media forms such as photography, video, installation, and performance gained prominence in the artistic landscape. This article examines the first feminist series on Portuguese television, broadcast between 1974 and 1976 on public television, which was profoundly transformed by the Carnation Revolution of 25 April. It represents a cultural experience that illustrates the intersection between an emerging visual culture and a new media culture seeking to align itself with the progressive narratives of the social-democratic agenda.
