Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyze Mitologias section from Página/12 newspaper. Specifically, we want to analyze and interpret how the Ideological Criticism perspective of Roland Barthes is used in this section. This perspective was very important in the communication and cultural field in the late 1960/70s. A part of the journalist field use this perspective during 2008, in a context of a hard confrontation between the Argentine Goverment and the main mass media.
