Abstract

In the past century, new technologies and the Internet have subverted traditional communication models. As we entered the 21st century and with the development of new tools, social networks have made their way into the field of journalism. The concept of social networks has gained considerable importance in recent years and has penetrated society by generating new ways of communication in every field, to the point of becoming the greatest exponent of Web 2.0. In this article, we will look into the use of the most representative generalist social networks social: Facebook and Twitter, the main vehicles for art-related content with the emergence of cultural mediation profiles, which have become actors in disseminating and popularising art-related content.
