Abstract
This paper deals with the dissepimented rugose corals from La Cornuda section (Córdoba, Spain). The section is composed of terrigenous and carbonate sediments, Serpukhovian in age (Early Namurian). Rugose corals have been identified only in units 1 and 7; 23 species that correspond to 13 genera belonging to 4 suborders, have been identified. A new genus and two new species included in the subfamily Amygdalophyllinae are described here, Amygdalophyllum cornudensis sp. nov. and Guadiatia pseudocoloniale gen. nov. sp. nov. Two endemic genera belonging to the Lithostrotionidae and the Axophyllidae are maintained in open nomenclature owing to the scarcity of the material.Downloads
