Abstract
The occurrence of some remains of the fossil shearwater Puffinus holeae as well as Calonectris diomedea in Fuerteventura island (Canary archipelago) is reported. The former was originaly described on fossils gathered in this same island and in the same dune complex where the new outcrop is located. This shearwater was very abundant in Fuerteventura during the Upper Pleistocene and spread to the coasts of the Iberian peninsula.Downloads
