Abstract
Nerineacean gastropods from two Cretaceous outcrops in NE Spain (Prepyrenean and Catalánides) are studied. In the Aptian urgonian facies of Punta de l'Áliga (L'Ametlla de Mar, Tarragona province, Catalánides), three species have been identified: Lewins c~hadern<>s de Geología Ibérica, n. 18, 175-202. Etlitorial Complutense. Madrid, 1994 176 J Wieczoreky (1 Llompare kia? Iomparei (Calzada), Diozopeyxis coquandi (d'Orbigny) and Diozoptyxis gigantea (d'Hombre-Firmas). In the Santonian sediments from Montsec area (Lérida province, Prepyrenean), in shalow carbonates facies, the genera Hapíoptyxis Hacobjan and Cryptop/ocus (Pictet & Campiche) have been recognized. Ihe biostratigraphical and palaeobiogeographieal distribution of both genera is discussed.Downloads
