Abstract

The Triassic deposits of the Nudvalos-Cubel Area (Zaragoza) were laid down on the 5W. Margin of the Ateca High, a paleozoic block acting as basin limit for most of the Period. Retrograding alluvial fans followed by meandering rivers are found to the W., followed by coastal siliciclastic complexes. The sedimentation generalizes at the beginning of the Muschelkalk facies. A sedimentological interpreta tion and an attempt of correlation with the SW. Ebro Basin and the Castilian Branch of the Iberian Ranges are presented. Anadrill-Schlumberger, Cra.
