La evolución climática del Stephaniense, Pérmico y Buntsandstein del Pirineo Catalán en base al estudio de paleosuelos.
Abstract
The continental materials between Stephanian-B and Lower Tria Catalonian Pyrenees are studied. Ihe most important ssic in the kinds of paleosoils and paleoalterations are characterized. Substrata kartifications, hidromorphic alterations or gleysols lateritic or ferra * Departamento de Petrología, Facultad de Ciencias Geológicas, Universidad de Zaragoza, Zaragoza 50009. 97 litie sojís, vertisois, caliche sojís and alterations related with stratigraphic unconfromities are counted as the most important palcoalteration processes and compared with their current equivalents. An inferred paleoclimatie model, based on the presence/absence of sorne paleosojis is exposed and briefly discussed (fig. 1).
