Evolución del Cretácico medio y superior en el Sector de Sigüenza-Taravilla.

Abstract

The informal lithostratigrafical units of the Middle and Upper Cretaceous are established for the Sigtienza-Taravilla region, and a correlation is attempted with the units defined forthe Iberian Rangers Maestrazgo Basin and Cameros-Castilla region by other authors. Five sedimentary cycles are formice in these units, four in the Middle cretaceous and one in the Upper Cretaceous. Three main spoch of sedimentation are distinguislide in the region, roughly selarging to the Lower, Middle and Upper Cretaceous.
