Abstract
This paper compares part-time employees with full-time employees in organizational commitment and its main determinants. By the estimation of hierarchical multiple regressions we show that part-time work doesn’t imply a lesser organizational commitment once we account for the effects of others important variables. Results also indicate that firm could improve the organizational commitment of their employees by improving the interpersonal relations in the firm or the expectations of promotion.Downloads
