Abstract

The National Japanese Sexology Institute forgo a new category for defining those people who don't reach a minimum of monthly sexual intercourses. This article studies a single “sex-less” case by drawing on etnomethodology, cultural anthropology and historical resources in order to challenge the pathologisation of this phenomenon.
