Abstract
In this article, following a reflection on the cognoscitive character of myth, the reading that Juan Sempere y Guarinos did of Saavedra Fajardo between 18th-19th centuries is offered. Sempere conceived the baroque author as a genius representative of what he called «sublime politics», over which concept the author of this text reflects on the heels of Empresas políticas [Political Maxims].Format
