Abstract

Opinions on the pauperism of Camus are influenced by his knowledge of classical antiquity, but his proposals are in the line of Catholic social thought that begins to conform in France from 1840. Camus is among the first scholars in Spain to expose the ideas of the main ideologists of this ideological current.
