El papel de la arqueología en la investigación criminal

Abstract

In this work we emphasize the importance that archaeology has in a forensic context, mainly to assist in the search, location and excavation of clandestine graves. In addition, we indicate some of the skills that are particular to a professional forensic archaeologist. Finally, we indicate a variety of requests in which the involvement of an archaeologist is recommended to maximize the recovery of the evidence, especially in cases of homicide resulting in the burial of the body.
